This one's a little behind but back in the beginning of this August, Andreas, his wife Barbel, daughters Anna and Helena and son Theo visted the States and spent some time in DC -what better way to spend time then eating at Mom and Dad's! George & Jacky and their kids Alexis, Hanna & Robert were there and Alexis' boyfriend as well. Another year older, Dr. George was also there with wife Rita. and of course Ingrid and I were there too. Free food? what? are you kidding - of course we were! It was a very nice night and it was good to see extended family that I hadn't seen in quite awhile. As usual Mom & Dad were the ultimate hosts and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable evening! Wish all my sibs had been there too, but since that couldn't happen here are some pics from the evening: I think George really got a kick out of his cake!
& Bill was the best chef - even without the apron. thank you bill. Hanna looks exactly like George - also like Hanna when she was 6 years old, but a little taller. It was great to see everybody - & their yiayia, who became a US citizen yesterday. There was a knock on the door and when I answered it there she was - saying "what is Monica Flynn doing on my front porch?"......& a cute little red car with red, white & blue ribbons in the driveway. (Jacky's parents are now retired & live in Kentucky.)
Great photojournalism, Bill - I felt like I was there. SO good to see familiar faces- some folks just don't change much, do they? I can see The Mihos Mamas and Papas serving, enjoying, visiting, and -- was that the old cork in the bottle trick going on? Thanks for bringing us up to date. love you, p
Wasn't the cork in the bottle trick...nope, George was just corrupting his son, Robert. Dr. George will always have a special spot in my heart for the Mustang! No doubt about it.

great post, Bil!
almost like Greek Easter, but no lamb eyeballs posing as grapes or Ouzo posing as water...
George gave you his car when we were younger, he must still be your idol...
wah! why wasn't me there?
ps M & D could always throw a great party, it's a gift.

George and Jackie's kids look so much like....George and Jackie. I love to see how friends' kids grow and resemble their parents. Thanks, Bill.
